Katy Moran, 40 Shades of Green, Acrylic on canvas, 2007.While I was in New York last week with Ali, we saw Katy Moran's spectacular show of paintings at the Andrea Rosen Gallery. A handful of small abstract paintings filled up a huge space.... in one case, a 1'x2' painting was hanging in the middle of a 20' wall that looked full (!!!)
Anyway, it was the best art I saw in New York, and we saw a lot of art in New York.
